- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Appalling, appalling, appalling. Had my brother come to stay with his two teenage children. Thought we would go to our local beefeater as it has stunning views, how wrong I was. The garden was covered in cigarette ends. On entering the restaurant it was dark and dingy with dirty tables. And the ladies toilets were blocked and no toilet paper or locks in one of them.The service was awful , in there for two hours just for a starter and a main. The food was not good had Cajun chicken, could have got better from Asda in the frozen section. Menial condiments a tiny pot of ketchup for six people. My husband ordered a rare steak and was given well done, didnt want to send it back as would have to wait another half an hour probably. The salad was menial as well.
